Having grown up in Los Angeles, I have always been surrounded by music and entertainment. I gravitated towards music at a young age, beginning to write songs at six years old along with taking piano and guitar lessons. Starting in 2022 I began recording and producing some of these early songs and posting them to social media. One of these songs, 'Who Am I?' has over 49k views on TikTok.

       I have always been drawn to film, TV, and the relationship between imagery and music, especially the role of music in animation. My original compositions and vocal work can be heard in Disney TVA's Kiff and advertisements from Verizon, Infiniti, Meta, and more.

       I graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2023 with a BM in Contemporary Writing & Production as well as a minor in Writing for TV & New Media. In 2022, I won Berklee College of Music’s Award for Creativity in Scoring for Advertising as well as a scholarship. 

       In addition to my work scoring, I perform and release my own music under the name Ava LaRue. I've utilized the skills gained at a music conservatory to blend Indie Folk Rock music with classical instrumentation and modern production techniques. I try to create a sound that feels nostalgic while also modern and fresh.

       With every piece or song I write, I hope to create something new and exciting for not only those who listen to it but also for myself. I am constantly trying new techniques and expanding my knowledge musically to fully realize my musical voice. I sincerely hope my music speaks to you.
